If you are a twitterholic, you will definitely like TwitKaFly. TwitKaFly adds some much needed functions to the official twitter app; like quick reply and quick compose just to name a few. I actually got a chance to beta test TwitKaFly before it was officially released to the public and I fell in love with it instantly. Not so much for the composing of a new tweet from almost anywhere, but for the simple fact that I could reply to an ‘@’ mention without leaving the app that I was currently using. iOS 5 has heavy twitter integration, but you can’t reply to an ‘@’ mention without going into the twitter app. Nor can you compose a tweet from anywhere and that was most disappointing.
When installed, a new icon is added to your springboard and that’s where you would login and grant TwitKaFly access to your twitter account. You can also send a tweet from inside the TwitKaFly app but that would be defeating the purpose of the tweak, won’t it? There are also a number or options inside the settings app under the ‘TwitKaFly’ tab. There you can set how you want to launch TwitKaFly via activator, blacklist or whitelist users and much more. At the moment TwitKaFly only supports the official Twitter app and one user, you can’t tweet a photo and you can’t tweet from the lockscreen. However it’s the first release and I know the developer is working hard to make TwitKaFly even better.
