iStartupSound (Cydia Tweak) – Play Any Sound Of Your Choice Whenever You Reboot or Resprings

Photo Jul 17, 10 16 00 PM

iStartupSound allows you to set a sound to play every time your iDevice reboots or resprings. No new icon is added to your homescreen nor is there any settings to be configured. It doesn’t come with any default sounds enable, you will have to choose set the sound you want to be played. If you don’t understand the instructions in Cydia or in the video, follow the guide below and lets hope that helps.

Name: iStartupSound
Developer: Vladislav Korotnev
Price: FREE
My Rating: 5/5

NOTE:
If you don’t know how to SSH into your iDevice, visit this post to learn how.

Things You’ll Need:
• Any sound file of your choice that is mp3 wav, or caf format.
• Any SSH method of you choice I used iFile in my video.

Steps:
1. Launch iFile, WinSCP or CyberDuck, and navigate to /var/mobile.

2. Copy the file into that /var/mobile and rename it startup.wav.

3. That’s it, now every time you reboot or respring your iDevice, you should hear the sound.
