If you get iTunes 1600 error, download iReb(here) and use it to put you iDevice back into a pwn DFU state. Or check out this post for assistance.

If you get iTunes 2005 error, that’s a connecting problem or probably a hardware failure. Try reinstalling the USB drivers fixed the problem and/or rebooting your PC. If that doesn’t work, try a different computer.

If you get iTunes 3194 error locate c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts delete any line with gs.apple.com or check out this post for assistance.

    Hey there,

I have just jailbroken my iphone 4 after upgrading to 5.0.1 and I get stuck at the end with the apple symbol and the loading bar beneath it. I have force reboot twice as shown in the video but it keeps coming back to that and nothing happens. Any suggestions?

    Thanks,
    Ritika

Hey man, I was just wondering, if I do this I will not lose my 01.59.00 baseband so I can unlock later, right?? I know it says baseband preserved but this is like a brick or not iPhone situation so I want to play it safe.
    Thanks!

i’m running ios 4.3.3 now. do i have to upgrade it to 5.0.1 with itunes? or jailbreak it directly following your instructions? and my baseband is 2.10.04. will gevey ultra unlock my iphone after jailbreaking it? TIA

    • Admin says:

You don’t have to update first. The iDevice will be updated and jailbroken at the same time with the sn0wbreeze firmware. And yes your baseband will be same and the Gevey sim will work.

i tried to jailbreak my iphone but there’s an error while restoring it to 5.0.1 (error 2005). i think ill just let someone more experienced jailbreak my device. hahaha thank you for the help

        • Admin says:

Problem connecting. Probably a hardware failure. Reinstalling the USB drivers fixed the problem.

          • jong says:

reinstalled my usb drivers then succesfully jailbroke my device. everything went better but then when i opened cydia, a black screen appeared saying “preparing file system (cydia will close afterwards)” then all the icons disappeared. the only icons remained was newstand, music, etc. no settings, messages, phone, etc icons in my springboard. should i rejailbreak my device?

  5. jong says:

i did a jailbreak to my iphone again and it worked. now i’m afraid of opening cydia because of what happened earlier.
