How To Speed up iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad

How To Speed up iPhone iPod Touch iPad

This post will show you how to speed up your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad. Now this isn’t a miracle worker, it’s not going to turn your iPod Touch 1G into an iPhone 4S. It doesn’t work like that, but you should notice a difference. Hope you guys get the same result as I did and remember, you’re doing this at your own risk!

Steps:
1. Open Cydia, go to Manage >> Sources >> Tap Edit in the top right-hand corner >> then tap add in the upper left-hand corner and add this repo “http://repo.insanelyi.com“.

2. Now search for and install the following packages:

a)Clean up crap (cuc)

b)MobileTerminal (NEW)

c) Lang2ez (This one is optional, I didn’t seen any speed improvement after installing this one).

3. Go to your homescreen and open the MobileTerminal app.

4. Log into mobile terminal with the following credentials and press return after everyone:
a) login (then press return/enter)
b) root (then press return/enter)
c) alpine (then press return/enter) (if you change your SSH password, it will not be “alpine).

5. Enter the following commands and press return after everyone:
a) cuc (then press return/enter and wait for it to finish, it will say “done”).

b) lang2ez (then press return/enter and wait for it to finish it will let you know how many languages have been uninstalled).

6. That’s it! You can repeat steps 4 and 5 daily, weekly or monthly to clean up your devices again.
